On August 28th, I attended the first day of freshman orientation at CBU. Needless to say, I am incredibly blessed to be able to attend here. I had to overcome obstacles I never thought I would cross because I thought like a child. I didn’t know anything about money, subsidized and unsubsidized loans, tuition, financial aid, and basically how money works in the real world. I simply thought you borrowed money to go to school and pay it all back when you’re done. Boy, was I incredibly wrong. After about two months of stress on stress, everything worked out in the end. I love the school. I love the people. I only hope to find everything I’m looking for while I’m here. Here’s to the next four years and discovering my purpose.
